About ACVAA

Advancing veterinary anesthesia & analgesia

The ACVAA Annual Conference is the premier meeting for the veterinary anesthesia and analgesia community, welcoming veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and trainees for high‑level anesthesia education and meaningful connection. The program delivers over 20 hours of advanced RACE Approved CE, offered across concurrent tracks, with up to 14.5 hours available per attendee. Highlights include an expert‑led anesthesia hot topics panel, a focused resident review session, and engaging social events that foster collegiality and conversation. Come join us in San Diego this fall!

The American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia exists to promote the highest standards of clinical practice of veterinary anesthesia and analgesia, defining the criteria for designating veterinarians with advanced training as specialists. The ACVAA issues certificates, maintains the specialist registry, and advances scientific research and education in the field.
